Our founders lead projects for Contrary and are responsible for delivering projects and ensuring our clients receive exceptional return on their investment working with us. We’ve all worked at top-tier consulting firms and (more importantly) have built and scaled businesses in the real world.

Our Partners
Scott started his career at Bain & Company, led strategy and Operations at StubHub, and served as a startup Head of Growth — most recently taking DripShop.live to >$1M Revenue and a $20M Series A. He loves working with marketplaces and professional services firms, and prides himself on his broad-based marketing and sales knowledge. Scott is based in Charlotte, where he rides bikes with his pup, frequents poetry, open mics, and reads a whole lot of Science Fiction.
Conor Hendershot
Conor spent five years in management consulting at Bain & Company before moving into operations, launching and building the GTM function at an Enterprise SaaS startup, Argyle, and scaling the business from $0-$10M+ ARR and raising $100M+. He has extensive experience in commercial due diligence, FP&A, and sales strategy. Currently residing in Denver, Conor spends his free time huffing and puffing through long runs at altitude, chasing fresh powder on the slopes, and learning to cook.
Ciaran is a seasoned communications and marketing strategist with over a decade of experience helping companies, causes, and leaders drive their message, grow their audience, and move people to action. Ciaran, whose career spans the political (Obama ‘12, Clinton ‘16), corporate, and non-profit sectors, is a campaigner at heart — and he brings a campaign mindset to everything he does. Born and raised in New York City, Ciaran is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, NC and the Sorbonne in Paris, France. In his free time, you can catch Ciaran on the soccer field or the dance floor.
Hannah currently leads fan engagement and loyalty at
U.S. Soccer, a role at the intersection of her love for soccer and her growth marketing expertise.
Hannah is based in Atlanta, where she’s coaches a girls club soccer team with her husband Mark, is usually training for her next marathon, or watching women’s sports!
